This guide will provide you with resources to know how to safely introduce your baby to a wide variety of age-appropriate foods. When it comes to Baby-Led Weaning, there is nothing more important than exposure. Babies need introduction to a variety of tastes, textures, shapes, and colors. But, after the "standard" baby started foods (bananas, oatmeal, avocado, etc.) it can be difficult to know WHAT to give your baby and HOW to offer it. In this guide you will find foods as simple as strawberries, as well as combination foods that are meant to challenge your baby and push their palate, such as a sugar-free banana zucchini muffin. You will find foods of all food groups, as well as exposure to the top 8 allergenic foods.
This e-guide is designed to provide you with 100 safe and nutritious foods to give your new eater. Each food includes preparation instructions and example images of how to safely serve it to a baby. This guide contains a 2-week sample meal plan to help get you started.
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. How will I receive the e-guide? Can I get a printed copy?
Answer: The e-guide will be emailed to you within 24 hrs of purchase. It is a pdf file that will be sent via Drop Box. You can save it to your device. I do not provide a printed version, but you can choose to print it if desired.
2. What foods are included?
Answer: The e-guide contains 100 foods including fruits, vegetables, dairy products, protein foods/meat, and grains. It also has combination foods with included recipes. All recipes are tried and tested and simple to prepare. This guide is not a comprehensive list of what you can feed your baby - there are many non-included foods that are safe for babies. This guide is designed to provide you with ideas, a resource for how to safely offer common foods, and a starting point for your little one's weaning journey.
3. Do foods need to be offered in a particular order?
Answer: No. There is no certain order to introduce foods. Foods in this guide are organized by food group, leaving a lot of flexibility for you to offer each food at your own convenience. A 2-week sample meal plan is provided for your convenience to give you an example of how foods can be paired together to form meals.
4. Do all 100 foods need to be offered in a certain time frame?
Answer: No. You can introduce food items at your own pace. A good and reasonable goal is to introduce 100 foods by age 1. This is possible by introducing about 4 new foods per week.
5. What age can you start introducing the 100 foods?
Answer: This guide was intended for children 6 months and older, which is usually when babies are developmentally ready for solid foods. Talk to your physician if you have questions about your baby's readiness for solid foods.

Registered Dietitian
I started Babies Feeding Babies in April 2020. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I knew I wanted to take a baby-led approach to infant feeding. When my baby was several months old, I started to look for resources and information that were budget friendly, based on scientific evidence, and included ideas that would work for the whole family. When I couldn't find just what I was looking for, I began to make it myself and Babies Feeding Babies was born. My goal is to provide a one-stop customer experience for all things infant feeding: information, products, and recipes all at the same place.
Babies have an innate ability to feed themselves wholesome food of all textures, flavors, and varieties. Let's help them become independent, confident eaters. Thanks for supporting my small business.
